Manjari Sharma

Manjari Sharma (b. 1979, Mumbai, India) is an Indian-American artist whose work examines memory and mythology through photography, sound, motion, projection, and sculpture. Her projects explore the nature and potential of rituals and their transformative impact on the inner landscape of the human mind.

Sharma’s work has been exhibited internationally in galleries, museums, and festivals, and she was awarded a 2024 Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. Her pieces are part of the permanent collections of institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
