Karim Boumjimar
Karim Boumjimar (b. 1998, Spain) has an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen and a BFA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Boumjimar challenges social hierarchies and norms through performance, painting,
sculpture, installation, and drawing. His works explore queer communities and interspecies
kinship and investigate the complex relationship between nature, culture, and identity.
Boumjimar has exhibited solo shows at Viborg Kunsthal, Viborg (2026); CFHILL, Stockholm (2025); Alice Folker Gallery, Copenhagen (2025, 2023); Overgaden, Copenhagen (2025); Pori Museum, Pori (2025) and Art Hub, Copenhagen (2021). His group exhibitions and performances include shows at Helsinki Contemporary, Helsinki (2025); Kunsthalle
